About Me
I have been a professional fisherman since 1983. I have won over 100 tournament events in my fishing career and fished over 800 events throughout the west. I breath, eat and live for fishing. I spend my life in the tournament world. I've held every position in our local bass club and I worked on the WON Bass staff for 4 years. I have traveled all over the west from California to Elephant Butte and every where in between bass fishing. I also love to deep sea fish and have landed several 200 lb Blue Marlin along with many other types of ocean fish. I have fished in Canada for pike and Tuna, Dorado and Rooster Fish in the Gulf. There are so many great fisheries on my bucket list that I still plan to fish.
My love for fishing has lead me to developing the Jimmy Tips Rod Tip and Line Protectors and become a booking agent for Ron Speed Jr's Adventures.
